One word stands out in our readings for today. It is translated with the phrase, "Everything is all right." The word is "shalom," "peace." Watch the four minute devotional video here. Even in the darkest times of the Old Testament (read 2 Kings 4-5 here), everything was all right. Our New Testament reading (find Romans 8:18-39 here) assures us that in our darkest times everything is all right.
Last Chance for the Best Deal
In my message for this weekend, I reference two speakers from the2020 Global Leadership Summit: Bishop T.D. Jakes and Lisa Turkehurst of Proverbs 31 Ministries. We were privileged to learn from more than a dozen nationally and internationally known leaders. If you register for the August 5 & 6, 2021 Global Leadership Summit today, you will receive year-long access to nearly all the 2020 speakers as well. Register by clicking here. Let's grow together in our ability to influence others to draw them to our Savior.

Outdoor Service on Sunday, August 23 at 10:30 am
We invite you to join us under the trees behind the Trinity Gym for another outdoor service. Three teachers will be installed in that service: Jeff Wetzel in his new position of Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Technology, Mark Sievert as our 5th grade teacher, and Louise Abramowski as our music teacher. The outdoor service will be livestreamed and replace The Bridge and the 10:45 service.
