Community Counseling & Care Center

at St Paul's

As much as we try to cope with life circumstances, sometimes we need a little extra help. Our pastors are experienced in sharing God’s healing Word in every situation. They are willing to offer assistance through a scheduled conversation. Contact the church office if you wish to schedule a time to meet.

When the need extends beyond a spiritual conversation, members of St. Paul’s and anyone in the community can access counseling care and services at the Community Counseling & Care Center here on the St. Paul’s campus. Clinical services are provided on site by Christian Family Solutions (CFS), a well-respected agency that specializes in counseling care and mental health treatment services. Pastor Jeffrey Bonack is a professional counselor through CFS. In addition to outpatient counseling, CFS provides higher levels of care to address more acute mental health conditions.

The Community Counseling & Care Center is a place for individuals to connect with the resources needed for mental health and wellness. Each individual we meet is viewed through a caring Christian lens, as a redeemed child of God in need of healing, help, and hope.

Support Groups and Events

DivorceCare Support Group

Divorce is painful. It is not what God intended when he instituted marriage, but in this sinful world it does happen, and it hurts. If you have gone through a divorce or separation, you may be experiencing some of the pain, loss, loneliness, and confusion that comes along with it. We at St. Paul's are here to help and support you. You are not alone. "May your unfailing love be with us, LORD, even as we put our hope in you." (Psalms 33:22)

St. Paul's offers DivorceCare, a Christ-centered 13-week program which includes video segments, group discussion, and personal Bible study. Feel free to join us anytime throughout the session to find help, discover hope, and experience healing. This group meets every Monday at 6:00 pm, in the Faith Room, several times throughout the year. If interested, contact Darik Mischke at 414-308-0575.

This group meets the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Hope Room. Alzheimer's Support Group

The St. Paul’s Alzheimer's Support Group meets to provide comfort and resources for care partners, easing the burden of this dreaded disease. As people who are dealing with similar challenges share their experiences, care partners realize they are not alone, nor are they the first to face such challenges.

A unique feature of this group is applying the comfort of prayer and God's Word to individual situations. This support group is sanctioned by the Alzheimer's Association. The group meets the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm in the Hope Room. For more information, contact Dave Timm at 414- 588-3840.
