In our last Advent chapter, we again take time to consider the story of God's salvation plan through the reflections of four characters that play roles in the Christmas story. Today's chapter focuses on the Mary, the mother of Jesus, whose young life was turned upside down when the angel told her of what God would do in and through here. Consider the tension she lived with and yet we see that, by God's grace, she put her trust in the one who could save and the one who would deliver her.
As you join us individually or as a small group or a family, join us in lighting your candle and consider Mary's quiet ponderings of all that she had experienced. Above all we learn quiet trust, as we wait for God to deliver us from our struggles, knowing the story of God's faithfulness cannot fail.
