Snake Stomp at St. Paul's???

Posted by Pastor Pete Panitzke on

“The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet” (Romans 16:20).

This promise gives us hope as we continue our message series Ordinary People – Extraordinary God. This weekend we will see Samson’s Small Steps Toward Big Destruction. Read about his steps to destruction here.

Sadly, we will have to admit that we take similar steps toward destruction.

But we will also recognize the small steps we can take toward Satan’s destruction. The final step is the fulfillment of the first promise of the Savior in Genesis 3:15. We too will crush Satan’s head!

So kids… bring your toy snakes and let’s do a snake stomp to remember the victory is ours!

Cool Million Update

Thank you for your generous support for our Cool Million effort! This week work began on the repaving of the school parking lot. Other projects scheduled for this summer include the replacement of the Centennial Gym windows and beginning the installation of a new heating/air conditioning system in our school.

We have also sent off the first of our tithe or 10% of offerings received. The first gift of $10,000 went to Costa Maya Ministries on the Yucatan Peninsula. The second $10,000 will be sent soon. An immediate need the ministry had was replacing their van. Watch this 2 minute video that explains how vital the van is to the ministry there and read the attached thank you letter from Pastor Valleskey. Our first gift makes the van purchase possible. The remainder will be used either to purchase their current building or to find another permanent worship home.

Join the 243 individuals or families who have already participated in the Cool Million effort. Make a one time gift or a recurring gift (two-year plans are encouraged) to A Cool Million or other funds by going to www.StPaulMuskego.org/give. You may use a credit card. The most cost-effective way to give is directly from a checking or savings account.

They have crushed Satan under their feet!

Three of our members won the final victory this week. Robert Dahlke's visitation is 11 to 1 pm today with service at 1 pm at St. Paul's. Norman Boye's visitation is from 2 to 4 pm Monday with service at 4 pm at St. Paul's. Betty Teisl's visitation is from 2 to 3:45 pm Monday with service at 4 pm at Krause Funeral Home on 124th and National. May God comfort their families with a clear vision of their victory before our Savior's throne.

This week's St. Paul's News is attached

Hope to see many of you in worship this weekend. Remember your toy or stuffed snake. Christ has crushed Satan's head. And so shall we! So we'll do a snake stomp to celebrate!
