Rejoice with us! April Messenger Attached

Posted by Pastor Pete Panitzke on

Dear partner in ministry,

I'm sending this email out to our members and guests to invite you all to celebrate God's goodness on His ministry here at St. Paul's and to pray for our future plans.

The Messenger

The Messenger will be handed out this weekend and is attached. You'll see God at work in St. Paul's in all the articles. I encourage you to read about our plans to give Pastor Bonack some time and financial help so that he can develop his counseling skills by getting a master's in counseling.

Open Forums

We will have several open forums in the next few weeks to talk about this exciting idea and others. There will be a short introductory presentation and then time for questions. Open forums are this Sunday, April 29 at 9:15 am, 10:45 am, and noon; at Stoney Creek Retirement Community on Wednesday, May 2 at 10:15 am; on campus again on Thursday May 3 at 7 pm; and on Tuesday, May 8 at 12:30 as part of the Organization of WELS Seniors (OWLS) meeting. Hope you can come and learn more!

A Cool Million

God continues to answer our prayers regarding A Cool Million effort to raise $1 million over the next two years for a number of needs on our campus and for mission outreach. We are at $488,000 in gifts and plans. I've attached the brochure and the plan-for-giving card. You can also simply reply to this email with your plan-for-giving. Your early participation in this effort serves two functions.

  • It encourages others to participate.
  • It enables us to do more of the projects this summer. Initial responses have already enabled us to move forward with the school's heating/air conditioning system this summer! Our kids and teachers thank you!

You can give a one-time gift or set up a recurring gift online here. Online giving is the easiest and most cost effective way for us to receive your gifts.

"O give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; he love endures forever" (Psalm 118:1).

Your brother in Christ,

Pastor Pete
