Preparing for Fall at St. Paul's!

Posted by Pastor Pete Panitzke on

St. Paul’s is preparing for fall – for youth and adults!

We are excited about our fall message series starting the weekend of September 9. Please pray that this series

  • helps moms and dads be the spiritual shepherds of their family.
  • helps everyone become part of a spiritual family (Life Group).

If you aren’t part of a Life Group small group Bible study, help form new groups at GroupLink (Thurs, Sept 13 and/or Sun, Sept 16 at 6:30 pm). Register simply by contacting Pastor Panitzke.

More information is attached or watch the second short video here.

Our Christian Elementary School starts next Tuesday, August 21st. Join us for the school opening service at 8:30 am. This Sunday at the 9:15 service we are installing the following:

  • Josh Lepke – 7th Grade Teacher
  • Talia Steinhauer – 2nd Grade Teacher
  • Angela Scheinder – 4K Teacher
  • Sarah Tonn – 1st Grade Teacher (half-time)
  • Kathie Horn – Extended Learning Coordinator (half-time)
  • Karen Lippert – Music Teacher (part-time)

We give thanks to God for these and all our called workers that Jesus graciously provides His Church.

Our Sunday Morning Youth Ministry begins September 9th for children 3 years old through 8th grade. Attached is the first newsletter that also contains information about our ministry to youth of high school age. You can register here.

It is exciting to see the improvements happening on our campus as a result of the Cool Million offering and other efforts. Attached you can see pictures of the new playground and swing set, new painting and logos as our school celebrates its 50th anniversary, new windows in the Centennial Gym and work being started on our air conditioning system. We encourage you to give a special gift to the Cool Million Capital campaign so that we can continue with these kinds of improvements next summer. Go to

As the summer comes to an end, we encourage you to find rest for your souls as we use Luther’s Garland of Four Strands (Instruction, Confession, Thanksgiving and Prayer) to study selected psalms, this week Psalm 33. Watch the first in the message series here.

Join us for worship:
Traditional: Sat @ 5 pm, Sun @ 7:45 & 9:15 am
Contemporary: Sun @ 10:45 am
The Bridge: Sun @ 10:15 am

If you can’t make it in person, join us Live at The Bridge.
You can also watch or download podcasts of past messages here.

Our School Administrator Seth Fitzsimmons is the"Featured WISCO Champion" for the month of August.

In addition, Joe Schauwitzer, a St. Paul's alum who teaches in Costa Rica, is the Wisconsin Lutheran College featured alumnus for August. See the article and pictures here.

God grant you physical and spiritual rest this weekend!
