Look for Hope - Bible Reading Plans

Posted by Pastor Pete Panitzke on

In the message this morning, we were encouraged to follow the Wise Men and look for Hope by reading God's Word daily. In that connection, I mentioned a plan to read through the New Testament in a year (five minutes a day) and a plan to read the entire Bible in a year (15 minutes a day).

Online Bible Reading Plans

I also use the YouVersion and Biblegateway apps on my phone. They can send you daily suggested readings to your phone or tablet.

You might also want to download the WELS Mobile App (read more here) for daily devotions.

Another option is to view three-minute devotions from Time of Grace. You can get notifications of new videos here.

Hope born in Bethlehem was worthy of the time the Wise Men committed to Him. He is worthy of the best of our time too.

Our Messages Online

Kudos to our video recording teams and webmaster for making recordings of our service available so quickly and in so many different formats!

View today's message from the sanctuary or download a podcast here.

View today's entire Bridge service here.

The Bridge is also now on Facebook Live (search The Bridge at St Paul's) and YouTube. If you were not able to meet our new pastor this week, I'd encourage you to click here and fast forward to 9:10 to hear Pastor Strobel speak of his excitement about joining our efforts to share the love of Christ.

New Member study starts on Tuesday at 7 pm.

If you are looking for a great place to get to know Jesus better, to ask questions, and to have some accountability in your efforts to read the Bible regularly, join us this Tuesday for the new Following the Bible study of the major Biblical themes. It also serves as our pre-membership Bible study. Reply to this email to register or ask for more information.

Lord Jesus, you changed the world through the revolutionary love and joy of the early Christian Church. Fill us that love and joy and use us to change the world around us so that all might know you as their Savior and their Hope. Amen.
