"Impossible" - A Frightening Word! & News / Links

Posted by Pastor Pete Panitzke on

"It is impossible... to be brought back to repentance" (Hebrews 6:4-6). How frightening to be shut out from God's grace! Watch the devotion here.

Our Old Testament reading (find Jeremiah 3-4 here)  contains the LORD's invitation and promise: “Return, faithless people; I will cure you of backsliding" (3:22). May we daily return to Him. May He do the impossible in our hearts and keep us close to Him.

Our New Testament reading (find Hebrews 5:1-6:8 here)  assures us that we have a High Priest who has become our "source of eternal salvation."

Come, Holy Spirit! Daily do the "impossible" in our hearts! Do not shut us out of your grace in Christ. Turn us back to you. Amen.
