Father, Create a Place for Me

Your Relational Family – A Place for You

We ask God, through the Family Church series, to strengthen the relational families in our congregation, helping dads and moms be the “first pastor” of their families.

Our Prayer: Father, may the Family Church help the parents in our St. Paul’s family to become more like you. As you love them unconditionally, let them show that unconditional love to their children. As you have forgiven them, enable them to forgive their children. As you guide and discipline parents to draw them closer to you, so give parents wisdom to guide and discipline their children to draw them closer to you.

Your Functional Family – A Place for You

During the Family Church series, we also ask God to create functional families in our congregation. Whether you are single, divorced, widowed, or an empty nester, God promises to set us into families. He is “a father to the fatherless, a defender of widows… God sets the lonely in families” (Psalm 68:5-6). We want our Life Groups to be like that nest Mike showed us, a place specially created by God for us to be safe and grow.

Our Prayer: Father, use the Family Church to make St. Paul’s a place where no one faces the challenges of life alone. To that end, enable us to form dozens of new small groups who can become “family” who love and care and encourage each other.

Father, use me to create a place of safety and growth… in my own home and in my Life Group.

Our Confidence in Prayer: 20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen (Ephesians 3:20-21).

Kids Club – Boost Begin September 9

New Bible Studies Begin September 9

A new year of Bible studies begin on September 9th in the Grace Room, starting with a four-part series by retired professor Dr. Daniel Deutschlander. The schedule for the year is attached.
Following the Promise Study starts Tuesday, September 11

This study with Pastor Nate is the place to begin Bible study. If you are interested in becoming a member of the congregation, this is the course gives you a chance to give into the Bible and have your questions answered. The schedules can be found here.
