Church Picnic Coming Soon!

Church Picnic – Outdoor Service –  at 10:30 am August 5

Only a couple of weeks until we hold our annual outdoor church service and picnic on Sunday, August 5, at 10:30 am. Now is the time for all good men and women to come to the aid of their picnic committee!
We need volunteers for the following jobs:

  • Grilling Corn (need someone who knows how to grill corn on our outdoor barbeque)
  • Carnies for children’s games and activity area (1-hour shifts)
  • Preparation of food, cashiers in the food tent, and runners/servers in the food tent

If you can help in any of these areas, please sign up on the sheets in the church lobby or contact Bob Zastrow at (414) 940-9360 or  Thank you!
A Cool Offering on Picnic Sunday

In your offering envelope packet is a green “Picnic Offering” envelope. These special picnic offerings will be included in the Cool Million effort. We have received $237,309 in Cool Million gifts. This generosity has already resulted in new sanctuary lighting and paving of the playground. Work on the new school HVAC and Centennial Gym windows will begin around the time of the church picnic. Our tithe has enabled our mission partner Costa Maya Ministries to purchase a much needed replacement van that serves as an essential part of their community outreach.

You can give to our regular fund or the Cool Million or a variety of other funds online at

Cool Million Golf Outing

Attached is the registration form for the August 11th Golf Outing or register online here. You can register for golfing or just to enjoy dinner on campus catered by Wegner's St. Martins Inn. All proceeds go toward the Cool Million offering.

Cool Views

Enjoy some great views of our campus taken by a drone on Father's Day. Watch the videos here.

Cool Series

I've enjoyed the "Faith Unshakable" message series this summer. This weekend we will take on the issue: Unshakable Faith Never Asks Why. Our response is "Really?" and "Really!" Join us as we study Joshua 5:13-6:27.

Join us online

I had a wonderful conversation with Dawn, a sister in Christ who is unable to worship in person but joins us every week online. Join her in worship on Sundays at 10:15 am here. Or you can watch us live on Facebook. If you do, please comment so that we know you are joining us!

An unshakable faith comes through the use of God's Word. Our message library is a tool that can help you grow. Watch a past sermon or download a podcast here.

God grant each of us a faith that is unshakable in our commitment to serving him, no matter what the cost, a faith that can stand any test, a faith that holds on to the promise of a life that will never end. God grant it for Jesus' sake. Amen.

Your brother in Christ,

Pastor Pete

PS. Our fall small group effort will focus on the importance of family for each of us. See the attached "The Next Stone" for more information.
