Pastor's Blog - A Generous God Creates Generous People

A Generous God Creates Generous People

Posted by Pastor Pete Panitzke on

This weekend we will be celebrating the power of the Holy Spirit in God’s people. Just as our God is generous, so he creates us to be a generous people. In preparation for worship, read Luke 16:1-15 here.

Psalms 111 & 112 illustrate the truth of our message this weekend. Psalm 111 describes our Generous God. Psalm 112 describes the generous Christian. I've attached a study that can help you appreciate the correlation. What an honor to be able to say, "We look just like our Father!" As he is generous, so we are generous.

Financial Peace from a Generous God

In last week’s message, we admitted that often we fail to have financial peace. View the message here.

To help us find the peace that God wants to give, we are offering two courses in January.

  • Financial Peace University A nine-week DVD-based study teaching the six “baby steps” to finding financial peace.
  • The Legacy Journey – A six-week DVD-based study teaching the steps to help you leave a legacy for the next generation.

If you are interested in learning more about either of these studies, email me at .
